Description: This coin has a few scratches on the obverse and some wear on the rim. The scratches on the obverse of the coin are long but light. The reserve of the coin is in mint state and still shows some cartwheel effect.
This coin has no copper spots or carbon spots or black high points. To the naked eyes, the whole coin has just one even golden color – unlike a lot of coins certified by NGC. It is almost as good as this 1858-S $20 PCGS AU53, which was sold for nearly $2200 recently.
This coin has rather low mintage and an extremely low graded population – only 329 total PCGS population in all grades and 722 total NGC population in all grades.

Description: This is a rare coin. There are not many Type II Liberty Head Double Eagle gold coins in acceptable conditions that you can afford out there. Most details are sharp except Lady Liberty’s hair. And there is still lots of mint luster. But there are scratches and dents as you would expect to see on an almost uncirculated coin.
